Andrea Bizzarri — Product Designer

Hello there. I’m a Product Designer with 10+ years in the field and a strong bias toward strategy, built working across luxury fashion, pharma, commodity, and telco.

My design process covers the full stack, from research to implementation, and I love working on complex systems where every design decision carries real product weight.

In my spare time, I run D&D campaigns and experiment with new ideas, like building a CMS-free editorial system from scratch, which is now the backbone of this portfolio — article: The DIY Route: Building a Custom Editorial Section Without a CMS.

Where I’ve grown

  • 2022 - 2026 | AKQA Italy

Where I honed my ability to engage with executives and stakeholders, think strategically, and always look at the bigger picture.

    Activities

Led design teams through both end-to-end projects and rapid design cycles, mentored junior professionals in building robust methodologies, and actively contributed to strategic new business activities.

    Main clients

Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, McIntosh Group, THOM Group, Prada.

  • 2019 - 2022 | Assist Digital

Where I learned to navigate complex projects and ecosystem-based experiences, speaking the language of developers and architects while aligning design with technical constraints, KPIs, and business strategies.

    Activities

Drove end-to-end design cycles, led user research and usability testing activities, and owned the design documentation and developer handoff process.

    Main clients

Mopar, MSD Italia, Eni Plenitude, Exxon Mobil.

  • 2015 - 2019 | Farmacia33.it

Where I learned to thrive in rapidly changing environments, meeting tight deadlines while synchronizing efforts with external agencies and partners.

    Activities

Balanced CRO and ROI-based roadmapping with long-term e-commerce strategy, led the full redesign of the internal back-office, managing every stage from discovery to delivery.
